To ensure authenticity and excellence, we collaborate with respected institutions such as Yayasan Ta’lim and Al Khaadem. Their expertise in Islamic education and community leadership enriches our curriculum and reinforces our mission: to develop mutawwifs who are not only knowledgeable but also spiritually grounded and ethically guided.
The course covers a comprehensive curriculum, including Fiqh of Umrah and Hajj, history of the Haramain, group handling skills, customer service, emergency handling, and use of digital tools via SiiruApp.
The program runs over a span of 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the batch format (full-time or weekends). The first batch starting September 2025 will be weekends class only (6 weekends)
Anyone who is physically healthy, aged 18 years and above (no maximum age limit), and free from drug or criminal records. Educational background is not a limiting factor, though being able to converse in Arabic is an added advantage.
No prior Mutawwif experience is required. However, candidates with prior Umrah/Hajj experience are encouraged to apply.

The course is conducted in-person to ensure hands-on learning, practical simulations, and immersive modules.
The modules and notes are in English, but don’t worry—the classes themselves will be conducted in a mix of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Our trainers will adjust their delivery based on the participants, so you’ll be able to follow along comfortably. The most important thing is making sure everyone understands and benefits from the session.

Each graduate will receive the official Siiru Mutawwif Kit, which includes a branded vest, lanyard, identification badge and materials to support the training
After graduating, you can choose where you want to be based—Makkah, Madinah, or right here in Malaysia. It depends on your personal plans and how you want to serve your clients.
Some mutawwifs choose to be on the ground in Saudi, while others stay in Malaysia and offer pre-departure guidance and support to pilgrims before their journey begins. Both options are valuable and in demand.
While graduates are expected to make their own travel and accommodation arrangements, Siiru may assist if a group of graduates plans to be based in the same location (e.g. Makkah), by helping find suitable accommodation for the group.
We provide the platform—you decide how you want to serve.
Accommodation is not provided during training in Malaysia unless otherwise stated.
Siiru will provide guidance on how to apply for the appropriate visa and make travel arrangements, but all graduates are expected to handle their own applications and bookings.
We’ll share tips, checklists, and trusted resources to help you through the process, but the actual arrangements will be your responsibility.
Being based in Malaysia can actually work in your favour. From past experience, some pilgrims prefer to engage a mutawwif who can assist them right from the start—helping with preparations, documentation, and airport arrangements before departure. This kind of support is often easier to provide when you’re locally accessible, making your presence in Malaysia a potential advantage over someone based solely in Saudi Arabia.
